Washington, DC is serviced by three Airports:

Getting Around
Washington is serviced by the Metro subway and bus system. It is a great way to enjoy the sites of the city. Route maps and further information are available at the WMATA website.

In addition, there are taxis available. In Washington the cabs all use a 'zone' system to determine fares, rather than a meter like more modern cities. The zone maps and fares can be an easy way for out-of-towners to be taken advantage of by a driver. For more information on fares, zones and rates, please see the DC Taxicab Commission website. More information, along with a helpful Vistor's Guide is available from the Washington Post, here.
